Are you a recent Harlaxton alumni who loves to share your experience with others? Or do you know a student who fits that description? The Harlaxton team is currently taking applicationsfor students who want to volunteer as Harlaxton Ambassadors to help represent and recruit for Harlaxton during their time at the Manor and back at home!
During their time at Harlaxton, Ambassadors will become tour guides and students representatives of the Manor at open houses and local events, then upon their return to the US, will be able to use their knowledge and experience at Harlaxton and bring their student perspective to recruitment, orientation, and other events for Harlaxton in the United States.
As official representatives of Harlaxton, Ambassadors will gain skills in recruitment, marketing, international education, and cross-cultural communication as well as the chance to share their experience and receive exclusive Harlaxton apparel and insider Harlaxton information! The time commitment is only around 1-2 hours per week, but the service you will provide Harlaxton will be invaluable.
Requirements:
o Study abroad semester at Harlaxton College
o GPA: 3.0 or above
o Enthusiasm and passion about Harlaxton College
o Excellent public speaking skills/experience
o Reliable, responsible, and professional
Expectations:
o Attendance at training session
o Serve as resources and representatives of the Harlaxton student perspective both at the Manor and in the US
o Assist the Harlaxton team with recruitment, marketing, social media, events, and more!
